چکیده
Introduction. RVI (rotavirus infection) is the most common cause of dehydration in infants and young children. The implementation sentinel surveillance from 2008 Republic Moldova demonstrated high rate this infection (40.0%), being an argument recommending antirotaviral immunization children within National Immunization Program.
Material methods. study enrolled 193 with acute diarrheal disease, included supervision (2012-2016) treated Unit for Acute Diarrheal Diseases at Children’s Clinical Hospital no. 1. biological material was examined by serological enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) genotyping, revealed polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
Results. rotavirus confirmed infants, which 121 were not vaccinated against RVI, 72 immunized. Depending on genotypes encountered before after vaccination, it found that G9P [8], G3P[8], G4P[8] detected although postvaccine prevailed G2P[4], G4P[8]. In addition, incidence decreasing disease evolution much better.
Conclusions. This article reflects genotypic properties rotaviruses clinical-paraclinical particularities highlighting importance antiretroviral Program Moldova.
